You know, I'm still more of a city mouse than a country one. Even with my hobbies and interests.
I've never spent any real extended time in the countryside. Only brief trips and vacations, and even then not long ones, since father always had to work.

I'd like to actually try living there for a while. Perhaps it'd be too quiet!

Likewise, I am most used to Tokyo aside from a few excursions further afield, so it's something of a novelty to me as well.

Still, with friends like ours, I'm sure your peace and quiet would be short-lived once we came to visit you.

Maybe I'll look into that when we're home. Wouldn't it be fun? A place in the country where everyone could come out and visit.

Why not do it here? You have all the time in the world to do as you please, with none of the constraints of handling your father's business. I would say it is a wonderful opportunity.
